TechLab+ Terms & Conditions for Branded USB Products

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases and use of USB storage devices (“Products”) sold or provided by TECHLAB+ (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing, using, or accepting our USB Products, the customer (“you” or “your”) agrees to the following conditions:

1. Product Purpose & Limitations

1.1. Our USB Products are intended for general data storage and data transfer.
1.2. While TECHLAB+ USB Products are tested for functionality, no storage device is guaranteed to be free from risk of failure, corruption, or data loss.
1.3. It is your responsibility to determine whether the USB Product is suitable for your intended use.

2. Customer Responsibility for Data

2.1. You are solely responsible for backing up, securing, and managing any data stored on or transferred through TECHLAB+ USB Products.
2.2. We strongly recommend maintaining multiple backups of all important data on separate devices or cloud services.
2.3. You acknowledge that data may be lost, corrupted, or rendered inaccessible due to user error, misuse, malware, physical damage, hardware failure, software issues, or other unforeseen events.

3. No Liability for Data Loss

3.1. By purchasing or using TECHLAB+ USB Products, you agree that TECHLAB+ accepts no liability whatsoever for:

  • Loss, corruption, or alteration of any data,
  • Inaccessibility of data,
  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from data loss.

3.2. TECHLAB+ does not accept responsibility for:

  • Data lost as a result of normal wear and tear,
  • Misuse, improper handling, or incorrect removal of the USB Product,
  • Use of the USB Product with incompatible software or hardware,
  • Exposure to viruses, malware, or harmful digital content.

3.3. Under no circumstances shall TECHLAB+ be liable for financial losses, business interruption, loss of profits, emotional distress, or reputational damage resulting from data stored on our USB Products.

4. Product Warranty & Limitations

4.1. TECHLAB+ USB Products may include a limited warranty for hardware defects only, covering manufacturing faults in the physical device.
4.2. This warranty does not cover:

  • Data recovery or data protection,
  • Damage caused by improper use, impact, moisture, heat, or electrical issues,
  • Normal wear and tear.

4.3. In the event of a hardware defect, TECHLAB+’s sole obligation is to repair or replace the USB Product at our discretion.
4.4. TECHLAB+ does not offer compensation or reimbursement for lost data under any circumstances.

5. Recommended Use

5.1. Avoid using the USB Product as the sole location for storing important or irreplaceable data.
5.2. Always safely eject the device before removal from a computer or other equipment.
5.3. Avoid exposing the USB Product to extreme temperatures, moisture, shock, or magnetic fields.
5.4. Use up-to-date antivirus software before transferring or storing data.

6. Data Recovery Services

6.1. If data loss occurs, TECHLAB+ may offer data recovery services, which are subject to additional fees and separate terms.
6.2. We do not guarantee successful data recovery in any case.

7. Acceptance of Terms

7.1. By purchasing or using TECHLAB+ USB Products, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
7.2. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the USB Product and should return it unused in accordance with our returns policy.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.
